Yes there is a lot of poverty here but there is a lot of wealth also. Like any country that has poverty dont try to stand out by waving your money around thinking this might help you get what you want . The people here are very kind and will go out of there way to help. Just place a smile on your dial and speak slow. Learn some key words in the local lingo if you want but most speak english ,however its with an American Accent.(that must be why they tell me to speak slow-er)

You may hear that it is UNSAFE here ,NOT true.One of the only things that isnt safe is the Tap water.You will have to BOIL it or go to the shop and buy bottled water for just a few Peso .Oh and the other thing is, dont go where there are large gatherings of people protesting or the likes, Stay out of local politics.If you have a concern write it down on a piece of paper 1000 times and give it to your neighbours goat for lunch..JUST KIDDING.....Ok now its time to get serious....NEXT PAGE....
